Personal pronouns
The dual case prepositions can be used with personal pronouns, but remember to use the correct forms - accusative or dative - depending on whether there is movement or not.

- Ich bin stolz auf dich.

- Sie sieht nichts - du stehst vor ihr
- Darf ich hinter euch sitzen?
- Es gibt nie Probleme zwischen meinem Bruder und mir. – There are never problems between my brother and me.
- Das ist ein Gefühl in mir. – That is a feeling (with)in me.
- Wir müssen das unter uns behalten. – We must keep that amongst ourselves.
- Ich stelle das Glas neben ihn. – I put the glass next to him.
- Ich bin stolz auf dich. – I am proud of you.
- Ich schreibe ihnen eine Mail. – I'm writing an email to them.
- Sie sieht nichts - du stehst vor ihr – She can't see anything - you are standing in front of her
- Darf ich hinter euch sitzen? – May I sit behind you (informal plural)?
Besser ein Spatz in der Hand, als eine Taube auf dem Dach – A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush (literally: better a sparrow in the hand than a pigeon on the roof)
