When it comes to dealing with pressure and thinking on their feet, BBC newsreaders are experts.
But how will Sophie Raworth and Maryam Moshiri fare when put to the test with a BBC Bitesize brainteaser?
Going head-to-head, we challenged them to see who was better at spotting patterns in groups of words. For each question they were shown four words in a grid, which all had a hidden link for them to figure out. A nail-biting battle ensued. There were wild guesses, declarations of hostility and confused faces.

Sophie: It's wrong. What was right then?
Maryam: I hate being wrong.
Sophie: Right. Start! A group of four words. Can you spot what links them?
Maryam: Post, pots, spot, stop. Which the following words could also belong to the group?
Sophie: Putts, ropes, tops; well tops does because it's all the – click on that.
Maryam: I think it's putts.
Sophie: And a correct, phew!
Maryam: AHH! Tops! Ah, wrong.
Sophie: Kiosk, envelope, roar, fluff.
Maryam: It's either window, email or sunshine.
Sophie: I'm going, really randomly, with window just because… it's got an O in it?
Maryam: And I think it's window because all the words start and end with the same letter, am I correct? I'm literally a genius!
Sophie: Yes, it's the right answer. I've no idea why that was the right answer. But anyway, it was.
Maryam: If, dog, wish, house.
Sophie: Sun, switch, lion. Um. Oh hang on, I'm going with lion. I have no idea why I'm going with lion.
Maryam: Lion. I'm just going to give lion a go. Oh, it was switch.
Sophie: It's wrong.
Maryam: Of course.
Sophie: Civic, rotator, deified, level.
Maryam: The options are spins, kayak and prop.
Sophie: Um. Vowels?
Maryam: Yes!
Sophie: Fall, proof, bed, colour.
Maryam: Which of the following words could also belong to that group? Is it melon, nose and sun? So fall, proof, bed, colour? Yes!
Sophie: I have no idea.
Maryam: Opera, shrub, magic, blood. Okay.
Sophie: Golf, hold, free.
Maryam: doobla, doolb, cigam, aperop - no they're not…
Sophie: I don't know.
Maryam: I hate you.
Sophie: That was it. I only got half of them right.
Maryam: I got 50%.
Sophie: I have to go and do the six o'clock news now. But that was actually really good fun. I might try it again on my own at home. You should try that at home, because that really does make your brain think.
